You will be managing an established income stream that raises important core and project funding for Willen Hospice. In this integral fundraising role, you will have the opportunity to transform our services by working closely with service teams to get unrestricted and restricted grants from Trusts and Foundations. 

With strong communication & relationship-building skills you will report to the Associate Director of Income Generation, working across clinical and support departments and with external partners to write high-calibre, persuasive applications and reports. 

We are looking for someone with a track record of securing funding and two years’ experience in Trusts & Foundation Fundraising, Commercial or Statutory bid writing.

Principle Tasks and Key Responsibilities:

• Working closely with the CEO, Board of Directors, and the team, you will lead on developing and managing creative art programmes, projects, activities, and events.

• Maintain and develop relationships among key partner organisations,local businesses, creatives, and host steering group meetings to develop new ideas and plans to progress and enhance the organisation, building communication and providing regular feedback. 

• Work with the CEO to develop annual organisational and project budgets, and manage ongoing programme budgets to ensure they are delivered as agreed within set budgets and timescales. 

• Research, implement and monitor programme and project plans, liaising with collaborators, partners, the community and artists. 

• Produce reports to ensure that relevant stakeholders are fully and consistently informed and updated about the progress of creative projects. 

• Determine and monitor the human and physical resources needed for the programmes/projects and ensure that they are available at the appropriate time. 

• Ensure effective marketing and publicity for programmes and projects. 

• Day to day project and personnel management, including staff and artists’ contracts, and project risk assessments. 

• Attend events, projects, and meetings on behalf of Community Arts by ZK, where appropriate. 

• Prepare and submit prompt reports, planning documents and information required by funders/clients with regards to service level agreements and any other contractual/grant funded obligations. 

• Ensure appropriate systems are in place for monitoring information required by funders and to ensure that all contracted staff are fully briefed as to their responsibilities in respect of monitoring information. 

• Maintain and update internal databases in order that data integrity is maintained and information is consistent across the data platforms. 

• Monitor and assess available funding opportunities, and work alongside the CEOto submit funding applications and tender submissions. 

• Develop new partnerships across Lancashire and Pendle to maximise existing and potential funding/tender opportunities

• General Responsibilities: 

• Ensure a high standard of professional conduct in dealing with other services and members of the public. 

• Contribute to the update of Community Arts by ZK policies and procedures in line with best practice.

The Role

This role will be responsible for researching and applying to small Trusts and managing an existing portfolio (up to 10K) alongside supporting larger grant applications where required. You will create and maintain a prospect list, apply for relevant opportunities and effectively steward existing funders, preparing reports and updates ensuring they meet donor guidelines. Furthermore you will support the migration of our CRM from Raisers Edge to Microsoft Dynamics.

The person

You will have Trust fundraising experience with excellent research and writing skills with ability to identify new Trusts to apply to, prepare accurate and compelling donor reports and case studies and be confident in approaching donors and promoting the work of Whizz-Kidz.  You will have strong donor stewardship skills with ability to tailor approaches to the needs of the donor. You will also have strong time management skills with ability to manage and prioritise your workload and ideally experience of using a CRM for Trust Fundraising.

About the role:

As the Trusts and Foundations Fundraising Officer, you will be responsible for maximising income from Trusts and Foundations in order to support SHP’s charitable activities. About the role

Becoming the Programme Marketing Manager at the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women is a fantastic opportunity to help drive progress for women entrepreneurs in low and middle income countries by engaging more people in our work.

The key purpose of this role is to effectively market our programmes to participants – chiefly our HerVenture business skills microlearning app and our sector-leading Mentoring Women in Business programme.

This will span three main projects:

· to successfully manage a marketing agency to effectively market the HerVenture app to women in South Africa (as part of a fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Mar ‘25);

· to successfully manage the same marketing agency to promote the app in Nigeria (as part of a separate fixed-term project with active marketing ongoing until Dec ‘24); and

· to effectively promote the opportunity to become a mentor to a woman entrepreneur through our Mentoring Women in Business programme to paying professionals worldwide. Your objective will be to secure 18+ paid mentors for the Nov ’24 programme intake and 20+ for the May ’25 intake.

Following the completion of the two HerVenture marketing projects, you will also lead other programme marketing initiatives in 2025. These will be determined in late 2024.

Following the May ’25 Mentoring intake you will deliver a strategy, harnessing your learning and analysis to outline an approach for marketing the programme to paying mentors in future.

You will also be called on to support other forms of programme marketing on an ad hoc basis, for example advising on development of corporate pitch decks, or co-designing materials for fundraising events.

This position reports directly to the Head of Communications and Marketing, however this is a highly collaborative role and you will also work closely with the Entrepreneurship programmes team and the Programme Funding team to develop and deliver plans and manage projects.

Our ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable and motivated marketer with experience in ‘selling’ professional development / online volunteering opportunities, and in managing agencies and contractors to deliver on fixed projects as aligned to good marketing practices. You should be highly organised and goals-driven, with a collaborative approach, a growth-oriented mindset, and a strong desire to harness the power of marketing to support women’s economic empowerment.

We are looking for a Product and Portfolio Manager within our Porfolio Development Team. You will have demonstrable experience in product/portfolio lifecycle management as well as a proven track record of successfully developing a cohesive portfolio strategy. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues to introduce new products and services that will support our growth and charitable impact. The role will include responsibility for meeting a new business target, through lead generation. In this role, you will:

• Manage the existing product portfolio, reviewing the existing offering in relation to market trends, client needs, the competitive landscape and the Charity's strategic goals
• Develop detailed product knowledge across the portfolio of products, leading development activity for each area alongside ongoing assessment of financial performance and product/service viability.
• Recommend and oversee product improvements, using market demand and customer and colleague feedback to identify and prioritise change.
• Working with the Chief Operating Officer and service leads to understand trends and opportunities across the portfolio and associated markets.
• Engage with expert colleagues from across the organisation to understand and support the development of their product ideas, evaluating these against internal and external factors including feasibility, expected value, and market demand.
• Financial and strategic modelling of new product options based on market demand, fit to Picker strategy, impact/income potential, strength of offering and ability to reach target audience.
• Work in partnership with the Chief Operating Officer, Head of Service Delivery, service leads, and the Marketing and Communications Manager to develop marketing plans to support demand generation on a thematic basis, providing expert product knowledge, customer insight and new business leads.

About You

You will have:

• Demonstrable experiences in product/portfolio lifecycle management.
• Demonstrable experience of managing project timetables, including reviewing progress and amending plans to address changing requirements 
• Proven track record of successfully developing a cohesive portfolio strategy that supports brand integrity/growth, whilst growing individual business lines/products/services
• Significant experience of meeting product/service business targets. Including driving business growth with new services and/or in new markets

Do you wish to be part of a growing and dynamic Fundraising team and support our Farming community? RABI, the leading UK farming charity, are seeking a fundraiser with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in generating income from trusts and foundations.

You must be a great communicator with experience in prospect research, writing funding proposals and developing relationships with trust representatives. This is an exciting time to join RABI as we develop a strategy aimed at raising seven-figure sums in 3-4 years to support the farming community.

As part of a growing and dynamic Fundraising team, your main duties will be to research trust and foundations, create and send applications and steward relationship with current and future charitable trusts. As part of the team, you will also be involved in generating funds across various other income streams.

Key responsibilities:

• Research and identify charitable trusts which may provide future financial support to RABI whilst maximising the potential for giving from trusts with which the Charity already has a relationship.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key trust representatives.
• Prepare, submit and monitor applications to charitable trusts including the maintenance of records of applications, grant receipts and successful/failed submissions. Ensure Trusts are thanked for donations in timely fashion.
• Updating the CRM system to ensure activities, communications, donations and other important details are accurately recorded and maintained.
• Compile statistical and background research to support the development of new and existing relationships with Charitable trusts.
• Monitor trust income for finance purposes, ensuring all donations or grants are coded appropriately, including any restrictions upon the use of the income.
• Creating monthly reports on trust income received.
• Support regular and individual giving, corporate, legacy and other income streams.
• Provide general administrative and wider Fundraising team support. 

Person Specification:

Essential

• A minimum of three years’ experience of successful trust fundraising.
• A good understanding of fundraising disciplines. 
• A pro-active team player who is also self-motivated and confident working independently.
• A good communicator, whether face to face, by telephone, virtual calls or in writing.
• Able to convey complex information accurately, succinctly and engagingly.
• Enthusiastic, adaptable, agile and resilient, with the ability to focus, prioritise and manage all aspects of this varied role in a fast-paced environment.

• Affinity and understanding and demonstration of the goals and objectives of RABI.
